SEREMBAN: Almost 17,000 affordable houses were offered at the Negeri Sembilan Housing Expo that was held at Dewan Majlis Perbandaran Seremban on 12th April 2018. Among the projects that was exhibited were eight PR1MA projects which are in Seremban Sentral, Seremban Utara, Senawang, Rantau 1 and 2, Pedas, Port Dickson, Kuala Pilah as well Taman Green View.
The expo that involved PR1MA; Ministry of Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government; National Housing Department; Syarikat Perumahan Negara Berhad (SPNB) and Perumahan Penjawat Awam 1Malaysia (PPA1M) was launched by Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Utama Haji Mohamad bin Haji Hasan.
In his speech, he said that along with the Federal Government’s efforts, the State Government has implemented the State Housing Policy to help the local community. Under the policy, each housing project must consist of 20 percent of houses below RM80,000, 15 percent of houses below RM250,000 and 15 percent of houses below RM400,000.
The launching ceremony was also attended by Negeri Sembilan State Secretary Dato’ Seri Mat Ali bin Hasan, Chief Executive Officer of PR1MA Dato’ Abdul Mutalib Alias as well as Chairman of the Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government Action Committee Dato' Jalaluddin Bin Alias.
