Seremban, 11 January 2021 (Korporat SUKNS) — The Negeri Sembilan state government has outlined four strategies that must be articulated by all civil servants in the state to drive economic growth as well as improve public service delivery.

Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Aminuddin Harun said the four strategies are to apply digital development in improving governance and service delivery systems; establish a state identity that is superior and of global standard; strengthen economic activities to improve people’s lives and drive economic growth as well as plan for civil servants’ wellbeing in the state.

“Civil servants in the state should be the ambassadors, eyes and ears to convey the government's development policies which the people must be aware of.

"Public sector employees in the district play an important role to help the state government in developing a district so that the district development corridor designed to stimulate commercial, residential, social infrastructure, innovative and medical hub developments, will create a huge impact on the community," he said at the Negeri Sembilan government administrative staff assembly held virtually and physically here, today.

Aminuddin, also stressed on the importance of balancing the goals of development with those of environmental protection and conservation, to ensure quality of life of current and future generations.

"The state government is confident that sustainable resources can drive new economic growth and create employment opportunities," he said.
