Rembau, September 26, 2019 (Korporat SUKNS) - Nestlé Malaysia today launched its expanded Chembong Factory in Negeri Sembilan with an investment of RM90 million to establish the facility as the world’s largest MILO Manufacturing site and global Centre of Excellence.

The event was officiated by Yang Teramat Mulia Dato' Lela Maharaja Dato' Haji Muhamad Sharip bin Haji Othman and Menteri Besar Negeri Sembilan Dato’ Seri Aminuddin Harun. Also in attendance were Negeri Sembilan State Secretary Dato’ Dr. Razali Ab Malik, Nestle (Malaysia) Bhd Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Juan Aranols and Chris Johnson, executive vice-president of Nestlé S.A. and CEO of Zone Asia, Oceania and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Nestle is the world’s largest food and beverage company, with presence in 189 countries and with 328,000 employees is in line with their commitment to continue enhancing manufacturing operations, while producing nutritious and high-quality made-in-Malaysia halal products for all Malaysians.

The Nestle Chembong factory provides 845 jobs out of a total of 5,500 Nestle Malaysia employees.
