KUALA PILAH, 10 Januari 2019 (Korporat SUKNS) – DYMM Yang di-Pertuan Besar Negeri Sembilan, Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir attended the 'Negeri Sembilan Berselawat' event in conjunction with his 71st birthday celebration at the Padang Besar Seri Menanti tonight.

He was accompanied by DYMM Tuanku Ampuan Besar Tuanku Aishah Rohani Tengku Besar Mahmud and their sons YAM Tunku Besar Seri Menanti Tunku Ali Redhauddin and YAM Tunku Zain Al’Abidin.

On arrival, the royal family was greeted by YAB Menteri Besar, Tuan Aminuddin Harun, his wife Puan Wan Hasni Wan Yusof and state executive councillors.

Also present were YTM Undang Luak Johol, Dato' Johan Pahlawan Lela Perkasa Setiawan Dato' Muhammad Bin Hj. Abdullah, YTM Undang Luak Sungai Ujong Dato' Klana Petra Dato' Haji Mubarak Bin Dohak, YTM Undang Luak Rembau Dato' Lela Maharaja Dato' Haji Muhamad Sharip Bin Haji Othman and YTM Tunku Besar Tampin Tunku Syed Razman Tunku Syed Idrus Al-Qadri.

The event, attended by about 10,000 people, commenced at 9.15pm, featured, among others the rendition of Negeri Sembilan’s state anthem, ‘Asmaul Husna’ as well as prayers recited by State Mufti Datuk Mohd Yusof Ahmad.

There were also ‘Qasidah’ and ‘Selawat’ performed by Al Magharibah group from Morocco.

Earlier, a congregation of about 3,000 people performed the Maghrib and Isyak prayers at the Masjid Diraja Tuanku Munawir, Seri Menanti, led by Imam Rahman Ibrahim that was followed by Yassin recital.
