SENDAYAN:
The Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Abdul Razak launched Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (Tamil) Ladang Bukit Bertam in Bandar Seri Sendayan on the 26th February in conjunction with his visit to Negeri Sembilan.

Over 2,000 guests that included parents, teachers, students and nearby communities were in attendance.

Also present were Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Utama Haji Mohamad bin Haji Hasan, State Legislative Speaker Dato’ Seri Dr. Awaludin Said, State Secretary Dato’ Seri Mat Ali bin Hassan and MIC President Datuk Seri Dr. S. Subramaniam.

In accordance with the ceremony, SJK(T) Ladang Bukit Bertam was renamed SJK(T) Bandar Sri Sendayan and is the only vernacular school that is equipped with facilities far beyond the expectation of the Indian Community.

The school was founded on 1951, and in 2016 there were only 7 students enrolled. However after it was relocated to Bandar Baru Sri Sendayan on the 3rd of January 2017, the number jumped dramatically to 140 students.
